Spray Systems

Chicago Salt builds spray systems for customers from gravity feed systems to pressure systems.
Deciding which spray system you want is a preference of yours as to what you want the system to accomplish.
Both systems will accomplish the same thing.
In a gravity feed system and tank is installed into your truck.
The tank holding liquid will flow through the plumbing to the back of the trucks spray bar which is the lowest point or the system.
A spray bar is installed at the back of the truck.
A electric valve is installed at the back to open and close from truck cab.
A electric switch is installed in cab to open and close valve at rear of truck.
An additional hose and valve are installed at back of truck to fill tank when it is empty at ground level.
The driver then operates the valve according to the drive.

In a pressurized system and tank is installed into your truck.
A spray bar is installed at the back of the truck.
A electric valve is installed at the back to open and close from truck cab.
A electric switch is installed in cab to open and close valve at rear of truck.
The driver then operates the valve according to the drive.

The pressurized system provides uniform spray.

You can change the nozzles according to how much material you want to put on the road.
A 5hp motor with pressure relief valve is installed into the plumbing system.
This provides a constant feed of liquid to the back of the truck under pressure,
In a pressurized system a reel of hose can be added so customers can spray sidewalks and stairs.
